Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to optimize the lower levels of our autonomy stack. You will work on algorithms that run directly on the flight controller, and that need reliable, low-latency communication with our sensor and compute hardware. If you enjoy squeezing every drop of performance from your code, and would love to work with unforgiving real-world hardware, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

  • Optimize algorithms to run on embedded hardware

  • Optimize embedded communication between sensors, companion computer, and flight controller
    Support custom hardware development

  • Support with flight testing

What we offer

  • Market-conform salary with stock options

  • Part-time (~24 h/week) or full-time position

  • Access to a dedicated drone lab and in-house testing facilities

  • A place where you own your projects end-to-end, have the freedom to implement solutions your way, and can take technical risks
